I have a Masters degree in clinical Counseling with an emphasis on Family and Child Therapy. Many of the skills I employ in counseling also make me a better teacher:

• variety of clients of all ages and demographics

I'm also a professional pianist certified in the state of California through the California Merit (Music Teacher's Association) program.

I offer a full spectrum of classical training in piano: 

• technical skill

• sight-reading

• music theory

• ear training

I also offer voice coaching and singing lessons that include:

• Solfeggio

• instruction on projection

• proper breathing

• stance

• tone and pitch

• voice control/dynamics

• harmonizing

After almost a decade of running my own piano teaching business, I can confirm that the best part of the whole experience is being able to watch my students grow and change, week in and week out, finding inspiration and learning new skills.

I feel lucky to be able to join in on a few years of their childhood journey of discovery.
